A group of friends with the feeling of love and compassion towards this race came together and established Shree Vardhaman Foundation in the year 2002. The foundation was established in Varwadi village which is approximately 30 kms from Pune. All necessary measures have been taken for the safety of cows and today this foundation provides shelter to more than 250 cows. An experienced team of veteri
nary doctors visit the place at regular intervals to keep a check on the health of the cows. The expenses for the maintenance are taken care by the Foundation itself. As a result more and more cows are being provided shelter and number of cows is increasing day by day. This task is being carried on with great enthusiasm and devotion. All the healthy cows and cattle are given away to the small farmers free of cost with the soul intension of helping the poor and needy farmers. The demand for such cattle is increasing with every passing day. Apart from serving and saving the cows, other social activities are also being carried out by the foundation as well.
