We at Skill Vikas foundation(SVF), Madhuri Deshpande and Gulab Dada Ghule, have worked with Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti (VSS) to teach students about importance of Natural Farming that is profitable, sustainable and regenerative. This model was designed to showcase intercropping as well. We were very happy with the results and VSS is now planning to expand this model farm project after harvesting current crop!

Completed a day workshop of Green Soil / SPK vishmukta natural farming in Shillim, organised by Shillim Institute Aniket Kalaskar

Completed farmer training in Raigad district. This was arranged by RAMETI Khopoli, a Maharashtra government organisation!

Skill Vikas Foundation conducted 2 separate workshops last week. These were for “GreenSoil” program to present SPK sustainable and regenerative farming practices. One was at Sarambalwadi near Gadhinglaj, Kolhapur and 2nd was at Santgao near Audumbar in Sangli. Also had on-the-farm training for farmers to showcase sustainable, low cost, high yielding SPK cropping patterns near Sarambalwadi. We had great discussions about how farming can be a good career option when you can change the equation about your farmland, farmland is an asset and not a liability!
