Leichal Taret Foundation, Pune The Leichal Taret Foundation, Pune is a registered non-government organisation registered under section 8 of company act.

This foundation was formed by like minded seven Manipuri ladies on the 27th day of March 2019 at Pune. The main aims and objectives of the Foundation are:

a. To work towards the socio-economic upliftment and development of weaker/ underprivileged section of the societies of our country with special focus on tribal areas, women and children, development of model villages etc.;

b. To work towards

economic empowerment and leadership development of women through promoting education, entrepreneurship, self-help groups, farming etc;

c. To help underprivileged section of the society with programs for promoting health & hygiene such as providing food, clean water, medical assistance, sanitation facilities, sexually transmitted diseases;

d. To work towards stopping all forms of gender-based violence and reducing gender inequality by helping children with education, mentorship, life-skills, vocational skills, provide camps for legal awareness etc.;

e. To conduct surveys and promote community development programs. Provide awareness about important social/cultural/environmental issues, cyber security, online fraud education to general public; and

f. To develop, promote, support, and maintain various activities like Handicrafts, agriculture/horticulture, Farming.
