o read about us and support us by volunteering.Shalom started its first informal child welfare program in 2002 with 10 children living in slums. Children of poor families, where both parents go out to work are the most vulnerable. Their food, education and health needs are neglected.These children come from poor families where both parents work as construction or laborers. During work day, they are unable to take care of their children and provide any guidance to their children.
