Hemophilia Society Goa in association with Intas foundation,Takeda, Poorna Sampark, Novo Nordisk and Novi Survat Goa celebrated World Hemophilia Day 2026 on 1st March at Porvorim in presence of Founder of Hemophilia Society Goa, Mrs. Manjit Kaur Chohan. A total of 40 patients along with their parents were present for the program.
Intas foundation & Poorna Sampark supported patients with factor 8 & 9 along with inhibitor screening for all the patients. Dr.Pawan, Dr.Sania physiotherapist & Ruthvik Gaude occupational therapist demonstrated exercises to the patients to keep joints healthy & fit. Vishal Raikwar & Aashish Maurya demonstrated self infusion to the patients. Mrs.Ira, a social worker from Novi Survat communicated with patients & their parents about self care. The program concluded with a vote of thanks & lunch.

Hemophilia Society Goa in Association with Novo Nordisk and All India Occupational Therapy Association Goa Branch celebrated World Hemophilia Day on the 4th May 2025 at Vidya Bharti Porvorim Goa.

The guest for the program was Dr. Gopal Gaonkar Co-conveyor AIOTA. Others present were Dr. Pritesh Varak and Dr. Tejal Keluskar. A Total of 35 patients and parents participated in the program.

A nationwide drawing competition was organised by Novo Nordisk for kids. Sanitary napkins were distributed with plants to the ladies. Dr. Gopal Gaonkar demonstrated exercises to keep joints healthy and fit. He also assured all possible assistance from AIOTA.

The program was hosted by Samruddhi Ganpule. This year's theme for World Hemophilia Day was 'Women and Girls bleed too'. Society also appealed to all the women and girls with similar symptoms to contact for assistance.
