FSHM successfully conducted an engaging workshop on RAG & MCP for the 2nd-year students of Christ College of Engineering & Technology.

Manimozhiyan(🇪 🇷 🇮 🇨 👽), Executive Committee Member - PuduvaiGLUG, led the workshop and introduced students to how LLMs can be grounded with real-world knowledge and real tools.

🐧 Linux Fundamentals session completed successfully!

We explored the Linux ecosystem, open-source philosophy, kernels, distributions, and file systems.
Participants gained a strong foundation in Linux and Free & Open Source Software.
A great morning of learning, discussions, and hands-on exploration at Maitri.

Opinion Reels Part - 2

We asked for an opinion about Google's proposed move to tighten their control over Android platform by restricting installation of apps only through PlayStore.

Though they responded that sideloading apks are not going away, this is a move to consolidate their control further on Android.

We also question their intention of building a centralized database of developers developing apps to Android. How is that going to help prove that an app is or isn't malicious?

A global campaign called "Keep Android Open" has been initiated by communities around the world to resist this move & fight back, as part of this campaign, we need to send email to Competition Commission of India in India and tell them to check Google.
