Welcome to the new home for A Sunlit Path. This blank canvas invites much creativity and possibility while humbling us with its location and purpose.

Passing through a village, a graveyard and a canal, you arrive at a place with pebbles that speak of a past river, sounds of a puja from Irumbai temple and neem trees sprouting up to greet the splendid evening sun.

Much more sprouting up soon! Come walk with us on the Sunlit Path—the path of grace and surrender. Much love to you. 🤍🪷

Wild neem trees sprouting up all over A Sunlit Path. The name The Mother (Mirra Alfassa) gave it is SPIRITUAL ATMOSPHERE.

Lots to do in this new chapter of A Sunlit Path 🪷, but our mind is quiet and our heart is at peace. We are grateful to be a part of the great unfolding on this planet. Thank you all for walking this path with us.

On August 14, 2026, a small group of us came together to plant a banyan tree to celebrate A Sunlit Path’s birth at its new location.

There is *ananda* all around us, everywhere, always. Our task is to absorb it and manifest it. May A Sunlit Path 🪷 become a place for us to discover a million ways to do this one thing.

A Sunlit Path is starting to take root in its new home just outside Auroville.

We are planting seeds, laying the road, planning the buildings and learning so much along the way.

Come for our sweet kirtan offering by Matthew Andrews at A Sunlit Path on March 7th at 6pm.

This will be our last event at this location. Join us to celebrate and say goodbye to all that has been over these last four years. Let’s close this chapter of our journey by connecting to the divine within through song and prayer.

A Sunlit Path is pausing for the summer—returning in late August.

Our founder, Sudha Suthanthiram, is spending time in the wild and abundant lands of Galicia, Spain—within *The Foundry*, a self-organised space for creative emergence and collective care.

As part of the new stewardship circle at The Foundry, we’re tending to the roots—laying the groundwork needed for new projects, residencies and self-organisation to thrive.

You’re warmly invited to explore more at and www.bravosfoundry.com. If you feel aligned with the Foundry’s intention and would like to visit or co-create, we’d love to hear from you.

We imagine A Sunlit Path growing like a banyan tree—extending through collaboration, sending out new roots, and connecting across wide and fertile ground.

Our latest temple adventure took us to many small treasures in the nearby Villupuram district.

Letting our curiosity lead the way, we explored the temples as a diverse group — some of us captivated by the history, others lost in the Tamil inscriptions and chants, a few drawn to the art and architecture, and others intrigued by the ancient water bodies and medicinal plants surrounding the temples.

From ancient Jain beds carved into hilltops to Chola-era temples still standing steady in the middle of small villages, every stop revealed a new layer, reminding us of the incredible riches in our own backyard here in Tamil Nadu.
