Our Sponsor club was Rotary Club of Midtown.The name "Port" was selected, as Pondicherry had a heritage Port. Past President of Rotary Club of Midtown Rtn. Nagraj, GSR was the coordinator for our club to initiate and Rtn. Ajay Virmani was the President.The founding members unanimously elected Rtn. Dr. Aurora as the First President. Rotary Club of Pondicherry Port is in its 25th year now. Over the

years the club has supported many projects and helped the needy .With a focus on education of children the Club members hope to improve the lives of the future generations.Today Rotary Club of Pondicherry Port is a strong Vibrant club with unique identity in District 2981. We have our weekly meetings on the 1st Sunday of the month & 3rd Saturdays.
