The Joshi Sisters from Pankhu village in Berinag tehsil, Pithoragarh District, have become a remarkable presence in the race community, consistently securing podium finishes in their category for the last three years.

Their incredible achievements are highlighted by their recent victory at the Dharchula Youth Champions Run (6 Km), where they had a fiercely competitive race among themselves:

1. Khushbu Joshi - 28m 22s

2. Sithal Joshi - 28m 26s

3. Khushi Joshi - 28m 27s

This is just one example of the spirit of competition and sportsmanship that the Dharchula Half Marathon Jhyangmothon 2025, organized by Rung Kalyan Sanstha and supported by Namami Gange and CBTS, aims to foster.

The event offers a unique platform for the youth of remote border areas to showcase their talents, bringing them into the fold of competitive sports.
