Christuraja Prayer Centre established in the year 1994. Our aim is to gather together people who wish to exalt the word of God by work and do humanitarian activities through prayer.To find out the orphans, destitute and needy people who are been rejected love and care from the society and work for their upliftment of these people. For these purposes our organization w
as registered (under charitable society act 1955)on 1999 January 13th Reg.No. As per that we are accepting people who are wandering in the streets and no other place to go. Now Christuraja Prayer Centre has 65 inmates and we provide food ,shelter, clothing and medicine. Christuraja Prayer Centre receives inmates who are brought by police, social justice officer and government hospital suprentendent. Man Behind :-
Our director Mr.Jaison Skaria.he is a psychiatric social worker after his studies he engaed In charitable works like providing food and colthings for needy.thats the begning later it reached full flourished from as Christuraja Prayer Centre.he is very dedicated in his works and now become the father of 65 inmates in Christuraja Prayer Centre. ChristurajaPrayerCentre has a team of people who work in different fields to fulfill the vision of the organisation. Administrative Structure:-
At present there are 23 members who are capable to attend in the general body.Through general body conducted yearly on December (3rd Sunday) we select 6 members and with a permanent director. In the executive committee the members are Director- Mr. Jaison K Skariya, Secretory- Mr.Chacko Ulahannan, Padinjarecocheriyil,Treasurer- Mr.C S Eliayas Chennamppillil. On each month on 1st Sunday through a committee we take decisions. Dedicated Volunteers:-
They are the backbone of the organization, who provide 24 hrs selfless service to make this place a home. Every smile that you see here is because of their dedication and passion. Professional Staff:-

Our Milestones:-
At Christuraja Prayer Centre, we believe that every small deed can contribute to the greater cause of a better society. With gratitude, we share with you the milestones of our journey together. (a) We handled around thousands of cases who are wandering in streets they may lost their way and can’t back to home. They may injured , public nuisances and even facing death. They were all handled with professional excellence who are brought here may treated in proper way with food, medicine and shelter. And make them all fit both mentally and physically. After that collect their addresses and sent them back to home. (b) Through our medical centre we provide free treatment facility for out patients . Activities
1.Orphanage-
Our organization got recognition to accommodate 120 members (recognition no.720) of orphanage control board in 21-3-2001. And our organization has been selected by government (order no: sw-3-335/07 issued on 24/9/2007) for providing protection for unhealthy orphans or destitute. More over these our organization got license of psycho-social rehabilitation centre for mentally ill person rules -2012( reg.no: 04/13/PRC , issued on 19/3/2013) Our Institution have 80G Registration . a)Day to day activities:
At 5.30 am personal care (Brushing, toileting and bathing), there after we participate inmates in several activities like prayer, group therapy (to develop interpersonal skills among the inmates), music therapy, recreational therapy. Moreover, to participate them in other activities to develop their social skills. b) Food:
At 7am morning tea, 9.30 breakfast, lunch at 1pm, evening tea at 4pm.dinner at 8pm.Some times, well wishers sponsor food for the inmates
c) Medical Facilities:
Weekly on each Tuesday we take inmates to Medical College, Kottayam for follow-up treatment and provide medication for them as per the prescription of doctor. Besides, we find out inmates with illness and render sufficient medical treatment from our centre. On each month we conduct blood, urine check-ups. Furthermore, we give counseling, Occupational therapy, acupuncture therapy for the in mates. Moreover, monthly twice we assess the weight and conform the health condition of each inmates. d) Occupational Training Center:
To make the inmate self dependent we occupy them in minor occupational activities like agricultural works, looking after the cattle’s, Cleaning works, helping in kitchen works etc. e) Recreational facilities:
It includes daily games like batmen ton , caroms , chess and all. During weekends we conduct cultural programmers . And for our inmates we provide pleasure trips and picnics.
2) Medical Centre:
During the period on permanent basis a lady doctor and lab technician was appointed. Monthly alliances were given for the staff. Through the medical centre we make regular check-up and provide adequate medication. Besides, we also provide out-patient medical services on free of coast.
3) Farm Nursery:
During the period there was 25 cows, 3 calves and 1 bafellow. The milk obtained are used for the inmates and rest are sold in society. The total profit gained from the sold milk are used for the maintenance of the farm, rest of the money are utilized for the day to day expenditure of the orphanage. Besides, we bring up birds like dove and hen etc. Moreover, through Bio-gas plant we get bio-gas and these are used for cooking food for the inmates.
4) Other Services:
-To find out the people who wander through the street on calibrations and on strike days. We provide Tiffin for the needy people on the street.
-Providing treatment for the poor people
-Render financial aid for poor children for their education.
-Provide financial aid for poor and needy woman for their marriage.
