On 20th April 2026, a delegation from the Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industries had the privilege of meeting Shri Samrat Chaudhary, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar.

The delegation warmly congratulated him on assuming office and expressed their sincere wishes for Bihar’s continued progress and prosperity. As a gesture of respect, a bouquet and traditional shawl were presented to the Hon’ble Chief Minister.

The delegation comprised:
Shri P.K. Agrawal (President), Shri N.K. Thakur (Vice President), Shri Mukesh Kumar Jain (Secretary General), Shri Rajesh Jain (Treasurer), and Shri Ajay Gupta (Chairman, Organization Sub-Committee).

During the interaction, the Chamber also extended a cordial invitation to the Hon’ble Chief Minister to grace the Two-Day State-Level Conference scheduled on 23rd–24th May 2026 as the Chief Guest.

On 10 April 2026, a Seminar-cum-Workshop on On-the-Spot Registration in the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was successfully held at the Chamber premises.

The session was presided over by Shri P. K. Agrawal, President of the Chamber. He was joined on the dais by Shri Ashutosh Kumar, Deputy Director, GeM, Shri Shivank Kumar, Business Facilitator, GeM, and Shri Satyam Kumar, GeM Trainer.

Also present on the dais were Shri Mukesh Kumar Jain, General Secretary of the Chamber, Shri Rajesh Jain, Treasurer, and Shri Ganesh Khetadiwal, Chairman of the Membership Sub-Committee.

The workshop aimed to facilitate instant GeM registration and to spread awareness about its benefits for businesses and entrepreneurs.

On 1st March 2026, the Holi Milan Samaroh was celebrated in the premises of the Bihar Chamber of Commerce & Industries. The event featured traditional dance and musical performances.

The ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly, officials from the Government of Bihar, officials from the Government of India, office bearers and members of the Chamber, as well as members of the media. All the attendees enjoyed the vibrant cultural performances and delicious festive delicacies.

On 02 February 2026, a delegation of the Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industries visited the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), located at Patliputra, Patna. During the visit, the delegation was first briefed in detail by Shri Sanjay Kumar, Director, STPI, on the infrastructure, operational framework, and facilities available at the IT Park.
On this occasion, Shri Sanjay Kumar formally welcomed the President of the Chamber, Shri P.K. Agrawal, by presenting a bouquet and a shawl. The delegation comprised Shri P.K. Agrawal, President; Shri Vishal Tekriwal, Vice President; Shri Pradeep Chaurasia, Former Vice President; Shri A.K.P. Sinha, Former Secretary General; Chairmen of various Chamber Committees Shri Akhilesh Kumar, Shri Sunil Saraf, Shri Mukesh Kumar, and Shri Ashish Prasad; along with Executive Committee Members CA Abhijit Baid and Shri Vishal Jain.
