आप सभी ने जिस अनुशासन, एकजुटता और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ हड़ताल में अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की, वह संगठन की मजबूती और हमारी सामूहिक शक्ति का स्पष्ट प्रमाण है। पांच दिवसीय कार्य प्रणाली सहित हमारी न्यायसंगत मांगों के समर्थन में आपका यह मजबूत कदम निश्चित रूप से संगठन के संघर्ष को नई ऊर्जा प्रदान करेगा।

यह सफलता किसी एक व्यक्ति की नहीं, बल्कि हम सभी की एकजुटता और सामूहिक संघर्ष की सफलता है।

Dear Comrades,

Two rounds of online meetings were held today. There has been no concrete outcome on the Five-Day Work Week. The strike stands. The UFBU Circular Follows.

Now is the time for unity, discipline and total mobilisation.

Every preparatory programme must be carried out meticulously. Every leader must remain fully focused, visible and active on the ground. Members must be kept alert, mobilised and ready for action.

No complacency. No dilution. No looking back.

Our strength will be seen in our preparedness, our unity and our presence on the ground.

Comrades,
It is evident that the Government, sensing the growing strength of our ongoing agitational programme, has kept the PLI for 2025–26 in abeyance.

However, our primary and long-pending demand of five-day banking remains unaddressed. Therefore, our strike programme continues as announced. We will receive further communication from UFBU shortly in this regard.

Let us remain united and steadfast in our struggle.

NOT A FAVOUR, A VICTORY EARNED

Today, the Department of Financial Services has written to every Public Sector Bank informing them that the PLI payable to Executives in Scale IV to VIII for the year 2025-26 will remain in abeyance until further orders, and will now be taken up only in the course of the ongoing 13th Bipartite Settlement and 10th Joint Note discussions.

Let no one mistake this for a favour handed down by the Government. It is the outcome of the Strike Notice UFBU served, the protest programs held, and the resolve we showed when we refused to step back from the call for an All India Strike on the 11th of September.

There will be those who did nothing while this fight was being fought, who will now come forward with statements and banners to claim they brought this about. Our members are not children to be fooled by such theatre.

And let this also be understood clearly. This is one round won, not the war. Five day banking is still denied to us. The PLI scheme itself has not been withdrawn, only deferred. Let us continue our struggle..!!
