Bihar Lok Jeevan into existence being after a few social activists realized that social change could only be ushered through social movement and development programme. Through the movement of human rights and disability issues social activists came on the one platform. Any types of development can be ushered only by people’s spontaneous participation irrespective of caste, creed and religion and g
ender. Even after the lapse of five decades and more the basic condition of people have not changed. So many concessions / subsides allowed to uplift the condition of poor but, the condition remains same. The people of these areas are saddled with the problems mass scale illiteracy, ignorance, superstitious, poverty, economic and cultural backwardness, rapid migration, oppression to women and abuse of children, problems of disability and so many others, middle men exploiting the labours. After assessing and observing such grim and deplorable situation we the people of Bihar formed a philanthropic organization named – “Bihar Lok Jeevan” in 1994. Society was registered under The Society Registration Act 21, 1860, Registration No. 48/ 1994-95 Dated 28-04-1994
