Prison Institutions are one of the three main constituents of the Criminal Justice System. Prisons are no longer regarded only as place for punishment with the changing perception towards prisoners. They are now being considered as reformatories and greater attention is being given to ameliorate the conditions in jails, so that it has a healthy impact on prisoners in developing a positive attitude towards life & Society.
