🔬✨ From Classroom Learning to Real-World Discovery! 🚀📚

Learning became an exciting adventure for the Class IV students of Notre Dame Academy, Patna, as the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) organised an educational visit to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Science City, Patna. 🚌🔭

Around 193 students, accompanied by their respective class teachers, participated in this enriching visit and got the opportunity to experience science beyond the pages of their textbooks. 🌟

The faculty and educators at Science City explained various concepts in a simple, engaging and child-friendly manner. The interactive exhibits and demonstrations helped students connect their classroom learning with real-life applications.

The visit encouraged the young learners to observe, question, explore and experiment, nurturing their curiosity and developing a deeper interest in science and scientific thinking. 🤔🔍✨

Sr. Mary Hema John SND, Headmistress of the Primary School, also interacted with the students and encouraged them to look beyond textbooks and embrace practical learning and real-life experiences. She emphasised the importance of experiential learning in developing a deeper understanding of concepts. 💫

The visit was also attended by PTA President Mrs. Sanchita Ghosh, along with PTA members Mr. Sambhav Gupta, Mr. Deobrat, Mrs. Khushboo Choudhary, Mrs. Shweta Sagar, Mrs. Chitra and Mr. Rajesh Jha.

✨📚 A Magical World of Stories Came Alive at Notre Dame Academy! 📚✨

The Montessori House of Children, Notre Dame Academy, Patna, in collaboration with the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), hosted a mesmerising Story Character Parade for the little stars of Montessori II! 🌈✨

Around 200 young storytellers dressed up as their favourite characters and transformed the school campus into a magical world of princesses, fairies, superheroes, cartoon characters and storybook favourites. 🧚‍♀️👑🦸‍♂️

From Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, Elsa and Anna to Barbie, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Dora, Moana, Spider-Man, Superman, Iron Man, Harry Potter, Batman, Captain America, Hulk, Doraemon, Shinchan, Chhota Bheem, Pikachu, Tom & Jerry, Paw Patrol, Ben 10 and many more—the little ones truly brought their favourite characters to life! 💫🎭

The confident smiles, adorable costumes and enthusiastic ramp walks made the celebration a delightful experience for everyone. ❤️

But this parade was much more than costumes—it was a beautiful opportunity for our little learners to express themselves, boost their confidence, unleash their creativity and experience the joy of storytelling and imaginative learning. 🌟

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents were specially invited to witness the magical parade and cheer for their little performers, making the occasion even more special.

The event was graced by Principal Sr. Mary Neha SND and Sr. Suma.

Sr. Mary Namrata SND, Headmistress, Montessori House of Children, appreciated the wholehearted participation of the children and thanked the teachers, parents and PTA team for their valuable support. She also shared a beautiful message on secularism, harmony, mutual respect, unity and celebrating diversity, reminding everyone that our differences make our society more beautiful. 🌍❤️

🌸 A Grand Celebration of Gratitude & Appreciation! 🌸

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Notre Dams Academy Patna, organised a delightful Gala Lunch at Barbeque Nation to honour and appreciate the Sisters and Teachers who tirelessly dedicate themselves to shaping young lives. ❤️

All the Sisters from the Montessori House, Primary School and Julie School, along with our beloved Principal, Sr. Neha SND, coming together, filled with delicious food, the afternoon turned into a beautiful celebration of love, laughter and togetherness. 💕

The celebration included fun-filled games, an engaging story-writing activity and a few delightful surprises, making the occasion even more memorable. 🎉🎁

The teachers were truly happy, delighted and touched by the warmth and hospitality extended by the PTA. Their heartfelt smiles and words of appreciation made the celebration even more special.

They were joyful and praised the PTA for the special lunchon, as a thoughtful gestures.

Notre Dame Academy Celebrates Rakshabandhan and Vrikshabandhan

Patna: Notre Dame Academy, Patna, in collaboration with its Parent Teacher Association (PTA), organised a special Rakshabandhan and Vrikshabandhan Celebration, bringing together students, police personnel, CISF personnel and Parivahan Mitras to celebrate the spirit of love, protection, gratitude and responsibility towards nature.

The celebration was graced by Shri Harish Popnoi, AC/JAO, CISF, Awaneesh Kumar, SHO, Digha Police Station, Mr. Atulesh Kumar Singh, SHO, Patliputra Police Station, and Mr. Jitender Rana, SHO, Sri Krishnapuri Police Station,Parivahan Mitras, along with the Principal Sr.Mary Neha SND , Headmistress of Primary school Sr.Mary Hema John SND & Headmistress of Montessori House Sr.Mary Namrata SND.
Students of Class V enthusiastically followed the cherished tradition of Rakshabandhan by tying rakhis to the visiting personnel. Through this gesture, the students expressed their gratitude and respect for those who work tirelessly for the safety and security of society.

The celebration also carried a strong environmental message through Vrikshabandhan. Students prepared beautiful handmade rakhis and tied them to trees, symbolising their bond with nature and their commitment to protect and nurture the environment. The activity conveyed the meaningful message that trees, too, need our care and protection.

Adding colour and joy to the occasion, the students presented a lively dance performance celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

Addressing the gathering, Sr. Mary Hema John SND, Headmistress of the Primary School, appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and thanked the distinguished guests and all those who supported the celebration.

PTA President Mrs. Sanchita Ghosh warmly welcomed the guests and expressed her gratitude for their valuable presence and encouragement.

PTA members Mr. Deobrat, Mr. R.K. Jha, Mrs. Shweta, Mrs. Khushboo, Mrs. Subuhi, Mrs. Chitra, Mr. Nayer and Mr. Mosheer were present on the occasion.

The celebration beautifully brought together the traditional values of Rakshabandhan and the environmental responsibility symbolised by Vrikshabandhan, inspiring students to cherish relationships, respect those who protect society and develop a lifelong bond with nature.

Notre Dame Academy Hosts Inter-School Great Debate English Competition

Patna: Notre Dame Academy, Patna, in collaboration with its Parent Teacher Association (PTA), organised an Inter-School Great Debate English Competition, bringing together young speakers from 14 prominent schools. The event celebrated the spirit of healthy competition while providing students with a platform to showcase their oratory skills, confidence, critical thinking and effective communication.

The competition was organised in Junior and Senior categories, with thought-provoking topics that encouraged students to analyse contemporary issues and present their views with clarity and conviction.

The event was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Dr. Moon, Head of the Department of Statistics, Patna Women’s College; Dr. Sovan Chakraborty, HOD, English, Patna Science College; and Dr. Shagufta Yasmeen, Ex-Principal, Maner High School. Dr. Satyajit Kumar Singh, MD, Ruban Memorial Hospital, graced the occasion and generously sponsored the event.

Junior Category

The topic for the Junior Category was “Use of Artificial Intelligence Should Be Banned in School Assignments.”

Aksh*ta Sagar of Notre Dame Academy, Patna was awarded the First Best Speaker title. Shanaya Singh of St. Joseph Convent High School secured the Second Best Speaker award, while Kanishka Mittal of Notre Dame Academy, Patna was adjudged the Third Best Speaker.

The First Promising Speaker award went to Adya Shree of Notre Dame Academy, Barh, while Audtic Aden of St. Michael’s High School received the Second Promising Speaker award.

Senior Category

The Senior Category featured the topic “Life Skills Are More Important Than Academic Success.”

Shanaya Singh of St. Joseph Convent High School emerged as the First Best Speaker, while Sneha Ghosh of Notre Dame Academy, Patna secured the Second Best Speaker position. Harsh Raj of Notre Dame Academy, Barh was adjudged the Third Best Speaker.

The First Promising Speaker award was presented to Harsh*ta Sinha of Notre Dame Academy, Patna, while Pratiksha Raj of St. Karens High School received the Second Promising Speaker award.

The Running Trophy was won by Notre Dame Academy, Patna, marking a proud achievement for the school.

Speaking on the occasion, Sr. Mary Neha SND, Principal, Notre Dame Academy, Patna, congratulated all the participating students and appreciated the efforts of the teachers, judges , chief guest & Programme Coordinator Mr.Deobrat.She encouraged the students to continue developing their communication and critical-thinking skills and remarked that the competition had been a grand success.

🇮🇳 Celebrating Independence with Our Parivahan Mitras! 🇮🇳

Notre Dame Academy, Patna, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with Mr Alok Raj Ex DGP,Bihar as our Chief Guest & our dedicated Parivahan Mitras, recognising their sincere efforts and valuable contribution towards the safety and well-being of our students. ❤️

The celebration was filled with warmth, gratitude and patriotic spirit. Our Parivahan Mitras were treated to samosas, jalebis and Frooti, adding a delightful touch to the occasion. 😊

Sr. Mary Neha SND, Principal, appreciated their dedicated work and wished them on this special occasion celebrating the spirit of unity, freedom and patriotism. Sr. Mary Hema SND and Sr. Mary Namrata SND also expressed their appreciation for their efforts and extended their warm Independence Day wishes.
