Dayara Bugyal has all the elements of a perfect Himalayan trek: superb forests, ancient villages, thrilling climbs to high points, wonderful mountain views of few of the best alpine meadows of Uttarakhand and
beautiful campsites, except we couldn't find any place to camp that wasn't covered in snow. Lucky for us, we found some huts in Gui village to spend the night.
The Trek from Raithal to Gui was a simple one, albeit with a lot of slipping, sinking and "can't we just pitch our camps here".
We reached Gui village in about 4-5 Hours.
The next day though, Oh my!
We began our Trek from Gui to Dayara top early morning.
As soon as you exit the treeline, you see striking views of Mt. Srikanth Draupadi Ka Danda(that's right) and Bhagirathi.
As the Altitude increased, the beautiful Bandarpoonch came to sight, making the mountains come to life.
We didn't expect much from this Trek, but as the Altitude increased, so did our perspective.
