Harbhajan Singh is a resident of Harowal village. During the devastating floods of 2025, his house was severely damaged, leaving the family in difficult circumstances. Harpajan Singh has two daughters and two sons, and the family faced many hardships in the aftermath of the floods.

Global Sikh began rebuilding homes for flood-affected families in the Harowal area, and after witnessing the condition of Harbhajan Singh’s house, it was decided that a new home would also be constructed for his family.

At present, nearly sixteen houses are being built in Harowal. This humanitarian initiative is being carried out with the generous support and contributions of the Sangat. Heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their continuous support and seva.

Kiranpreet Kaur, a resident of Amritsar, comes from a humble family where her father earns a livelihood by driving a rickshaw. Despite limited financial resources, he continues to work hard to support his family and ensure a better future for his children.

For the past three years, Global Sikhs has been continuously supporting Kiranpreet’s education by covering her school fees, enabling her to continue her studies without interruption.

ਗਲੋਬਲ ਸਿੱਖਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਸਦਕਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ, ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਵਾਰੀ ਹਾਈਜੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸਹੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ, ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹਿਚਕਚਾਹਟ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਜੀਵਨਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।”

Meet Gursimran Singh from Amritsar —
a young boy carrying big dreams and even bigger responsibilities.

His father works as a tailor at a small stitching shop. Despite struggling with health issues for a long time, he continues to work every day because the family has no other source of support.

Watching his father’s hardships closely, Gursimran dreams of completing his education as soon as possible, finding a stable job, and standing beside his father to support the family.

For the past two years, Global Sikhs has been supporting Gursimran’s education by covering his school fees, ensuring that financial difficulties do not stop a child from chasing his dreams.

Sometimes, educating one child is not just about school —
it is about giving hope to an entire family.

After the heartbreaking loss of Ansh’s father, his family was left struggling to survive. His father’s dream was simple yet powerful — to see his son educated and standing proudly with a better future.

With his mother working in homes, washing utensils to earn a living, continuing Ansh’s education became almost impossible. In this difficult time, the family connected with Global Sikh, and since 2024, Ansh’s school fees have been supported through the collective seva of the sangat.

Project ‘AAS’ is not just about education — it is about keeping dreams alive, even after loss.
Every child deserves a chance. Every dream deserves support.
