It is powered by young women of village Batamandi, HP, and is actively involved in making handcrafted products & processing organic food. SHRAM SHG consists of 9 women who come from Batamandi. Most of these women were dependent on the male members of their families for financial stability. But ever since they started working with us, not only have their lives changed for the better, they can now a

fford to give their children a better lifestyle. Our group specializes in making different kinds of Bags (shoulder sling bags & duffel bags), Coasters, Waterproof Satchel, Designer Envelopes made from handmade sheets, Crochet, Embroidered Products, Jute Accessories, and products made from the famous 'Tie & Dye' technique. In our efforts to preserve the environment, our group uses waste plastic bottles to make furniture. The group can also make customized products as per the requirements of the customers. Our members are working hard to make this endeavor of theirs a success. Each product is made with great care and passion so that it gives maximum satisfaction to the customers! The products are liked by everyone for their rich colors, exclusive patterns, designs, and quality. SHRAM-SHG does not get any financial support from the government or NGOs. The sale proceeds of the products made by the group go directly to them, and the group also procures the raw material from their funds. We have now diversified our activities to food processing. We now also make pickles, candies, chutneys, and other products from Indian Gooseberry, mangoes, strawberries, and other organic fruits and vegetables. We are also involved in making roasted snacks from organic brown rice and organic wheat. The Gujarati Staple food KHAKHRA is also being made by the group in different flavors using organic ingredients. The Gluten-Free muesli made by the group is another fast-selling item.
