PROJECT DESCRIPTION:On the proud occasion of our Charter Day, celebrating 5 years of dedicated service, the Inner Wheel Club undertook a meaningful initiative by donating a solar light to the Zilla Parishad School in Dodhani village, Raigad.

The area outside the school lacked proper lighting, causing inconvenience and safety concerns for villagers during nighttime. Understanding this need, the club installed a solar-powered light to illuminate the surroundings, ensuring better visibility, safety, and security for students and the local community.

This eco-friendly initiative not only addresses an essential need but also promotes sustainable energy solutions in rural areas. The villagers and school authorities expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this thoughtful and impactful contribution.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The Inner Wheel Club of Panvel City successfully conducted a meaningful project by providing essential stationery to the children of Balgram Kids Orphanage. A total of 40 notebooks and 40 pens were distributed, ensuring that each child received basic tools to support their learning journey.

This thoughtful initiative brought joy and bright smiles to the faces of the children, reinforcing the importance of small acts of kindness in making a big difference. The entire stationery distribution was generously sponsored by our club member, Mrs. Madhumita, reflecting her commitment to empowering young minds through education.

Through this project, the club took a step forward in nurturing education, encouraging learning, and uplifting underprivileged children, truly living the spirit of service and care.

Electronic waste was thoughtfully collected from club members, neighbours, and friends, showcasing a strong spirit of participation and social responsibility. The collected items were handed over for safe and eco-friendly recycling to Therco Recycling LLP, ensuring proper disposal and minimizing environmental harm.

Details of Collection:
The drive resulted in the collection of various electronic items, including:
• Mix E-waste – 21 kg
• Fan – 1 unit (3.2 kg)
• Monitor – 3 units (10.2 kg)
• CRT Monitor – 1 unit (11.9 kg)
• Printer – 1 unit (4.9 kg)
• Speaker – 3.7 kg

A total of 23 spectacles were generously collected through contributions from club members, as well as their neighbours and friends. This collective effort reflected strong community participation and awareness towards social responsibility.

The collected spectacles were donated to Laxmi Eye Institute, Panvel, where they will be further distributed to needy individuals, helping improve their vision and quality of life.

SUBJECT: “Where Learning Meets Joy – Happy School Project”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The Happy School Project undertaken by the Inner Wheel Club of Panvel City at Raigad Zilla Parishad School, Dehrang was a meaningful initiative aimed at enhancing the learning environment and overall well-being of students.

This impactful project was successfully executed with the generous support of our Major Donor Mrs. Archana Thakur, along with valuable contributions from the Rotary Club of Panvel City and the Navi Mumbai Raigad Hoarding Association.

A wide range of development and beautification work was carried out to transform the school into a more vibrant and student-friendly space. The key improvements included:
• Educational and creative wall paintings to make learning more engaging
• Installation of a cupboard for organizing books
• Provision of a whiteboard and podium to support better teaching
• Plantation of plants and trees to create a greener environment
• Artistic enhancements such as marble art and kitchen art
• Painting and renovation of toilet facilities
• Installation of gas in the kitchen for improved mid-day meal preparation
• Repair of the water tank and completion of necessary plumbing work
• Donation of a water purifier by our club member Mrs. Vrushali Gandhi

Additionally, the cupboard, water tank, and toilet plumbing work were supported through sponsorship, reflecting strong community collaboration.

To further encourage education, 30 “Meri Kitaab” notebooks were distributed among the students. The club also brought smiles to the children by distributing chocolates and Frooti, making the day even more joyful and memorable.

The visit was made special by the enthusiastic participation of the school children. They warmly welcomed the members with a vibrant traditional Lezim dance, a melodious welcome song, and cultural performances in traditional attire. Some students also shared their heartfelt happiness and gratitude for the school’s transformation.

The school principal expressed sincere appreciation and felicitated all club members and sponsors for their generous contribution and efforts.

The total expenditure for the project was ₹98,100, out of which ₹18,000 was received through sponsorship.

Overall, the Happy School Project was a fulfilling and impactful initiative, creating a positive and inspiring environment for the students while strengthening the spirit of service and community bonding.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The Inner Wheel Club of Panvel City, in collaboration with Navrang Academy, successfully organized a vibrant and impactful Women’s Entrepreneur Business Meet to celebrate Women’s Day.

Around 25 dynamic women entrepreneurs participated in the meet, where they shared their inspiring journeys, business experiences, and growth stories. The session created a powerful platform for learning, networking, and encouraging women to step forward with confidence and vision.

The event was followed by a lively celebration filled with fun games, music, dance, and cake cutting, creating a joyful and energetic atmosphere. Participants also enjoyed mouth-watering snacks, adding to the warmth and bonding of the gathering.
As a special gesture of appreciation, decorative flowers were presented to all the women entrepreneurs, along with a tote bag featuring the Inner Wheel Club logo, promoting Inner Wheel branding and creating a memorable takeaway for all participants.

Overall, it was a highly interactive, motivating, and impactful event, celebrating the true spirit of womanhood, entrepreneurship, and togetherness. ✨
