Today is a very important & historic day for our Konkani language. On this day in the year 1992 Central Government led by then Prime Minister Late P. V. Narasimha Rao, Konkani language was included in the Eight schedule to the constitution. Through the Seventy first amendment of Constitution this inclusion was done. The Preamble of our Constitution in Konkani.
