This is how the Goa Government is fooling goans through the Goa Human Resources Corporation and blantly flouting labour laws. Last year 900 people were taken on empanellment basis. You are neither an employee of the Corporation who empannels you neither of the Department where you are deployed... who is paying your salaries?? The Corporation or the Department??? Why no 4% reservations for persons with disability??

Margao Municipal Council has installed a help desk on ground floor
to assist persons with disability and save them the trouble of climbing up the stairs for their work.

Disability Rights Association of Goa thanks Margao MLA Digambar Kamat and State Disability Advisory Board Member Prakash Kamat for their help in getting it done.

DRAG has expressed its disappointment over Municipality and panchayat buildings in Goa not being accessible for persons with disability and the inability of the Government to get the Municipalities and panchayats to even start a help desk on the ground floor of the Municipalities and panchayats even after 2 years of Purple Fests and orders of Chief Commissioner Persons with Disability. DRAG demands all Municipalities and panchayats which are not accessible for persons with disability and on first floor should have a help desk for them on ground floor by 31st July 2025 and building made accessible by 3rd December 2025 or face legal action.
