The Goa State Co-operative Union Ltd., successfully conducted an Awareness & Training Programme on Employment and Entrepreneurship Opportunities in the Cooperative Sector on 8th July 2026 at the Mini Hall, Panaji. The programme was graced by Shri Pandurang Kuttikar, Chairman, Goa State Co-operative Bank Ltd., as the Chief Guest. Informative and inspiring sessions were delivered by Shri Salu Bhagat, Chief Executive Officer, Thrift Cooperative Association, and Dr. Sachin Tendulkar, Progressive Farmer, who shared their valuable knowledge, experiences and success stories, motivating the youth to explore the immense potential of the cooperative sector. The programme served as an excellent platform to create awareness among young participants about employment, entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities available through cooperatives while encouraging them to contribute towards sustainable livelihoods and the strengthening of the cooperative movement.

The Goa State Cooperative Union Ltd has organized 1 day Training Programme for The Chairman and Board of Directors of Dairy Cooperative Societies in the State of Goa on 3rd January 2026. The Programme was Inaugurated by Shri Subhash Phal Dessai Hon'ble Minister for Social Welfare Govt. of Goa along with Shri Naveen Kumar Managing Director Goa Milk Union Ltd. Vijaykant Gaonkar Chairman of The Goa State Cooperative Union Ltd Smt.Shweta Gaonkar Farm Manager and Dr. Dhuri Resource Person at Shatixa Dairy Farm Cortali, Sanguem Goa. Members from various Dairy Societies participated in the Programme.
