Sharing a special radio program for contributing to a better world for children I have devised, scripted and enacted. The host station is Vivek FM 90.4 which is a community radio of the prestigious Vivek High School. It was the first of its kind in Chandigarh and an initiative of the school to provide service to the community through the means of the radio.
The program's purpose is to build community engagement and bring together voices from different stratas.... like children in pvt schools and those in govt schools , affluent families and common people .
The program's goal is to bring community ownership of the condition of all children in society , here or anywhere.... for holding an opinion and adding one's voice.
The issues may seem distant not relevant to one's own life f you consider privilege and comfort but injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Renovating classroom in Colony No 4 , Chandigarh's largest slum .The local Gurdwara very kindly has allowed us courtyard space in lieu of giving them a shed with cemented floor and a door for their toilet.Vatsal Chaya uses it for 4 hours everyday for teaching children and tailoring classes for older girls after which they have it to them selves.
