Today, the I HATE POLYTHENE team conducted an awareness session at Bal Sadan, Sector 12A, Panchkula. Children were educated about the harmful effects of polythene on our environment and health.

They were encouraged to say "No to Polythene" and adopt eco-friendly alternatives such as bio bags (compostable bags) in their daily lives. The session inspired young minds to become responsible citizens and contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and plastic-free future.

परिवर्तन की शुरुआत एक छोटे कदम से होती है, और हमें गर्व है कि 'I Hate Polythene' अभियान लगातार नए आयाम स्थापित कर रहा है। 🚀

पिछले कुछ समय में हमने पर्यावरण संरक्षण और प्लास्टिक मुक्त समाज के निर्माण की दिशा में कई महत्वपूर्ण पहलें की हैं:

📍 रुड़की (CSIR-CBRI)
विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने और टिकाऊ विकल्पों को अपनाने का संदेश दिया गया। 🌱

📍 पंचकूला (इंद्रधनुष ऑडिटोरियम)
माननीय मुख्यमंत्री Nayab Singh Saini की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में क्लॉथ बैग वेंडिंग मशीन का प्रदर्शन किया गया तथा प्लास्टिक मुक्त भविष्य की दिशा में सामूहिक संकल्प लिया गया। 🤝✨

📍 चंडीगढ़ (सेक्टर 46)
आज म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन, चंडीगढ़ के सहयोग से इस अभियान को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है, ताकि अधिक से अधिक लोग कपड़े के थैलों को अपनाकर पर्यावरण संरक्षण में अपना योगदान दे सकें। 🏢🛍️

♻️ यह केवल एक अभियान नहीं, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए स्वच्छ, हरित और सुरक्षित भविष्य का संकल्प है।

आज विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर इंद्रधनुष ऑडिटोरियम, पंचकूला में हरियाणा राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के सहयोग से पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं प्लास्टिक मुक्त समाज के निर्माण का संकल्प लिया गया।

इस महत्वपूर्ण अवसर पर माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी जी की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में *"I Hate Polythene"* अभियान तथा *क्लॉथ बैग वेंडिंग मशीन* का प्रदर्शन किया गया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य नागरिकों को सिंगल-यूज़ प्लास्टिक के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूक करना तथा कपड़े के थैलों जैसे पर्यावरण-अनुकूल विकल्पों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित करना है।

On World Environment Day 2026, the I Hate Polythene campaign proudly joined hands with CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee, and other esteemed institutions to support the global call for climate action.

We are honored that our Founder, Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, and Mrs. Pooja Aggarwal participated in this initiative, spreading awareness about reducing single-use plastics and adopting sustainable lifestyle choices.

The event reinforced a powerful message: real change begins when communities, organizations, and individuals work together to protect our environment. Every reusable bag, every conscious choice, and every awareness effort brings us one step closer to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

🌿 Eco Warriors Update – 9 Tons Strong! 🌿

When temperatures soared, our commitment to the environment only grew stronger.

Despite the intense summer heat, the I Hate Polythene team remained active on the ground, creating awareness and promoting eco-friendly alternatives across communities. Together, we achieved a significant milestone by distributing and selling 9 tons of bio-bags in May, helping reduce the dependence on single-use plastic and encouraging sustainable habits.

This achievement belongs to every volunteer, supporter, partner, and citizen who chose a greener alternative. Your dedication proves that small actions, when multiplied by many people, create a powerful environmental impact.
