Bengali Cultural Association, Panaji, Goa, is a 41 year old registered organization (Estd in 1981) which has been promoting the Bengali culture in Goa through various activities like dance, music, film festivals, religious festivals and other literary activities and also exchanging the rich cultural heritage of both Bengal & Goa by organizing cultural programmes on a common platform throughout the

year. BCA Panaji celebrates Sarbojonin Durga Puja with a lot of gaiety and fervour every year; the association also organizes Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja and Saraswati Puja every year.

We are proud of our two members, Dr. Narayan Desai and Shri Parthapratim Chakrabarty who were recently felicitated by Bengali Cultural Association for their achievements in their respective field. Dr. Narayan Desai has been felicitated for being conferred the Sahitya Pragya Puraskar-2020 by Goa Konkani Akademi, Govt of Goa for his contribution in Konkani language and literature. He also translated a Bengali book "Salazarer Jele Unish Maas" by former MP Shri Tridip Chaudhuri in Konkani language.
Shri Parthapratim Chakrabarty has been felicitated for his first Bengali story book which was recently launched in Kolkata Book Fair 2024.
The Association congratulates them and wish them many more such achievements in their career.
