Kasturba Mahila Vikas Samiti with the helping hand of Ambuja Cement Foundation aims at providing livelihood opportunities to women of 60 SHGs from 5 Gram Panchayats of Pali District. Women of 5 Gram Panchayats of Jaitaran Panchayat Samiti in Pali District namely: Rabariyawas, Balara, Ras, Sewariya and Kurki successfully run mini bank at present by saving Rs.25 lacs by just initiating a saving of R

s.50 per month over the course of 10 years. The SHGs were not only a medium of establishing an organization but also served as an aid to the financial requirements of 1000s of women. Ambuja Cement Foundation stood up for KASTURBA MAHILA VIKAS SAMITI and helped them in registering under the Society Act in 2016 and Issued a revolving fund of Rs 10 Lacs. This amount was further used by more than 600 women of 60 SHGs under Kasturba Sangathan for creating livelihood earning opportunities for themselves. At present, loan support is available for Agricultural purposes, livestock, Setting Up of Grocery/Vegetable Shops, Oil & Flour Mill, Stitching, Parlour and for the overall skill development of the unemployed masses. Kasturba Mahila Vikas Samiti helped Covid stricken families by lending the loan amount only with the help of the revolving fund provided by Ambuja Cement Foundation. By the medium of these loans, many families are earning their livelihood through constant and continuous efforts. At the social level, this process has saved humble families from getting trapped in loan & interest chain systems that is being continued for a long time. Due to the availability of such loan support from the organization, people can fulfill all the small & big requirements.
