We are a local organization working to improve our community through lower-scaled initiatives. We have only worked in the Maharashtra state thus far, and we began our first campaign at Temki Paada in December, 2016. Our campaigns involve interacting with the children, teaching them yoga and the English language, playing community-building and skill-based games with them, and hosting guest speakers to teach them about different issues.

We’re halfway through this year’s Yoga for a Cause and can we just say, the turnout has been amazing! We’re entering summer which means two things: insane heatwaves and Yoga for a Cause, our annual yoga challenge! 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️ Celebrate International Yoga Day with us over the course of a week, from June 15-21. Get those yoga mats and props ready, it’s time to get aligned!

Link to join the challenge is in our bio.

Each day, an Iyengar teacher will share a video demonstration of how to do a yoga asana (pose). Send a photograph of yourself doing the pose on our group chat daily for that week. For every photograph that is shared, Aboli board member Rasika Krishnamurthy will donate $1.

If posting a photograph isn’t your cup of tea, there are other ways to support this fundraiser:
- Become a sponsor (any donation is very much appreciated, please email us at [email protected] if this is something you are interested in)
- Help us share the word with family and friends

We hope to see you there!
