🏃‍♂️ Run for Unity

On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary and in celebration of National Unity Day, a “Run for Unity” was organized by Oshiwara Police Station.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Lions Club of Powai members, President of Sutantra Narayani Seva Trust and student members of Lions Club of Mumbai HK College Campus.

The presence of renowned personalities — Johnny Lever, Remo D’Souza, Deep Shikha ji, Gurmeet Choudhary, and other celebrities — added great energy and inspiration to the occasion, making it a memorable celebration of unity and patriotism.

📌 A total of 100 students participated with great enthusiasm, celebrating the spirit of togetherness, national pride, and unity, while paying tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — the Iron Man of India. 🇮🇳The presence of renowned personalities — Johnny Lever, Remo D’Souza, Deep Shikha ji, Gurmeet Choudhary, and other celebrities — added great energy and inspiration

👩‍👧 Distribution of umbrellas, sewing machines, sanitary pads & water bottles to women & children by Lion Pratibha Singh (President, Lions Club of Powai).

💡 Lion Supriya Karnik (D.C. Women Hygiene) motivated women to start sanitary pad businesses, offering support & opportunities.

🎓 Dr. Sheela Yadav (President, Sutantra Narayani Seva Trust) awarded scholarships to students for their higher education.
