Environment Healers successfully conducted their 117th Sunday Cleanliness Drive, marking the final cleanliness drive of 2025. This drive was especially meaningful as it was carried out at Project Road, the very place where the journey of Environment Healers began.
During the drive, our team encountered a large amount of garbage, including alcohol bottles, empty food packets, plastic waste, and other litter carelessly thrown into nature. However, the most heartbreaking and alarming sight was the presence of used syringes and injections, a Clear sign of drug abuse.Such waste poses a serious threat not only to the environment but also to public health and safety.
This experience reminded us that cleanliness is not just about removing garbage—it reflects the collective responsibility and awareness of society. While we continue our efforts to heal the environment, there is an urgent need to address the root causes of pollution and promote responsible behavior.
