𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?

On 25 July, SAS Foundation joined 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙮𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙫𝙖𝙙, bringing together RWAs, NGOs and organizations united by one purpose—protecting the environment.

Chaired by Dr. Madhunita and Anul Kumar, the Samvad became a platform where organizations shared the environmental action they are driving in their own capacities.

SAS Foundation highlighted its work on 𝗲-𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀.

But the most powerful moment came afterwards. Several attendees reached out with a shared ambition: 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗲-𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮.

Because meaningful change begins when conversations become collaborations.

🌱 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗨𝗽.

When Rotary International District 3011 reached out to SAS Foundation for potted saplings as souvenirs, the short timeline made it difficult to commit to the request.

SAS Foundation chose not to make a promise it might not be able to honour. Yet, when Rotary needed support, it stepped forward—arranging 𝟱𝟬 𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, which the Rotary team thoughtfully potted and distributed as souvenirs at the event.

For SAS Foundation, environmental leadership is not about making promises. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀—𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Because sometimes, the most meaningful support begins with simply saying: “𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.”

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲-𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄?

When residents of Palm Residency, Sector 76, Faridabad, asked for an e-waste collection drive, they turned a simple request into meaningful environmental action.

On 26 July, SAS Foundation, in association with Grandeur Recycling Pvt. Ltd., collected 𝟭𝟴 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝟭 𝗸𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗲-𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲—including smartphones, laptops, geysers, TVs, microwaves, stabilizers, UPS units and charging wires.

Leading the initiative, 𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗯𝗶 addressed residents’ queries and facilitated the collection.

Every responsibly discarded device is a step towards a cleaner future. Together, communities can make responsible e-waste management a habit—not an afterthought.

At 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝟰.𝟬, organized by 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 𝗬𝘂𝘃𝗮 with 𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 as the Community Impact Partner, more than 𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 and 𝟭𝟮𝟬 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 came together with one shared purpose—to pedal for the planet and inspire sustainable action.
