In a meaningful effort to support child well-being and early learning, the 𝙋𝙧𝙚-𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 was organized at Barkote Block, Deogarh District, Odisha. With the generous support of 𝙅𝙞𝙫 𝘿𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 26 kg of rice and 4 kg of dal were distributed to the families of enrolled children, reinforcing the importance of nutrition in ensuring healthy growth, cognitive development, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙’𝙨 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚

The National Consultation on “Just Rights for Children Alliance: Ensuring a Child’s Rights, Potential & Prosperity” brought together an extraordinary coalition of child rights champions, practitioners, and institutions from across the country. Representing 36 States & Union Territories and 782 Districts, the gathering reflected a powerful commitment to advancing justice, protection, and opportunities for every child.
The consultation served as a dynamic platform for exchanging insights, strengthening partnerships, and shaping collective strategies to address the challenges faced by children. Through meaningful dialogue and shared learning, participants reaffirmed the importance of creating child-centered systems that uphold dignity, equity, safety, and inclusion.

Guided by the visionary leadership of Bhuwan Ribhu, Founder of the Just Rights for Children Alliance, the movement continues to unite organizations, institutions, and communities across India in a shared mission to protect children’s rights and ensure their holistic development. His unwavering commitment has inspired a nationwide collective effort to create safer and more equitable futures for children.
As voices from diverse regions came together under a common vision, the event highlighted the transformative impact of collective action in building a future where every child can live free from violence, access their rights, realize their potential, and flourish with confidence and hope.

Together, we are not only protecting childhoods; we are shaping a more just, compassionate, and equitable future for generations to come.

📚 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙’𝙨 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨
Understanding where children are in their learning journey is the first step toward meaningful educational support.
As part of the Ankoor Program, a comprehensive learning 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 was conducted at Gurusang, Outal, and Tainsira School Learning Centers (Siksha Bhumi), along with the Nuamunda Community Learning Center (Siksha Bhumi).
A total of 195 children participated in the assessment, which focused on foundational skills in reading, writing, and numeracy. The assessment helped us understand individual learning levels, identify learning gaps, and design targeted interventions that respond to the unique needs of each child.
By continuously tracking children's progress, we strive to create an inclusive learning environment where every child receives the support, encouragement, and opportunities needed to achieve their full potential and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Through storytelling, shared reading sessions, and interactive learning activities, local youth emerged as facilitators of change, inspiring children to explore the world of books with curiosity and confidence. Community members actively participated by reading aloud, sharing local stories, and encouraging children to engage in discussions, thereby transforming the library into a vibrant space for collective learning. This collaborative effort not only strengthened children's literacy and communication skills but also reinforced the community's role as an active stakeholder in nurturing young minds and building a sustainable culture of reading and lifelong learning.
