..... NSPCA stands for prevention of cruelty to animals.... If the dept is doing ABC for strays.. we demand that the dogs be treated pre and post surgery in a humane manner..... Dry resting areas .... Wholesome food and clean water ... No bowls were kept even for water let alone food .... An apathetic and badly run animal hospital. Action and accountability please!

... A clear case of negligence and abandonment by the owner .... Treatment of the horse was taken up by WVS ooty and AH Ooty... Which unfortunately came to a sad end ... The owner claimed no money to transport and bury his horse... .. A case must be registered by UMC ... Otherwise without repercussions .. such painful incidents will continue.

... This horse owner needs to be brought to task .. the sick horse was found wandering the streets .. was given aid free of cost by WVS and AH Ooty .... But came to a sad end ....horse owner claimed no money to transport and bury his horse.. a bad case of negligence and abandonment. Police must register a case or we will continue to see such incidents.

.... A sad victim of ingesting plastic ... This poor horse collapsed in the collectorate compound . A team from WVS arrived promptly to provide emergency care and then taken to AH Ooty ...
A negligent apathetic horse owner leaving it without attention after treatment .. led the horse to a sad end ! When is the municipality going to tag horses and mete out strict action against horse owners.....???????

It pains us to report the deplorable conditions and utter cruelty meted out to these streeties in Gudalur municipality.... ABC done .. dogs just left in this hell hole .. minimal food with no protein after surgery .. lying in these own excrements! ... This department needs to be shaken !

... Children from Anthony's hr secondary school Gudalur were treated to an awareness program on rabies and dog behaviour.... Mr. Varadarajan from WVS ooty ... On his knees!! Communicating in a way to bring the message across...eager questions asked and answered...... The fact that all animals treated with kindness and a level of humanity always respond in kind ... We hope these kids will spread this positive message further.......

NSPCA Anthony's hr secondary school Gudalur rabies.. the start of an anti rabies vaccination drive and awareness program was conducted by NSPCA member Matilda Gomez at her school in Gudalur with WVS ooty and Gudalur municipality.... A great beginning for rabies free Gudalur!
