Maitri Network The Maitri network is a group of 12 Indian organisations combating violence against women. We are growing!

OUR APPROACH
We believe that building a strong women’s voice where women are brought together and mobilized to claim their rights and end any form of injustices committed against them, is key to achieving gender equality and lasting change. We also include men as partners in this endeavor as we believe that sustainable change will not be possible without also changing the behaviours and attitudes

of men towards women, and bringing them on-board to become advocates for women’s rights and gender equality.

The Maitri Network Partners meeting was concluded with lots of positivity, helping the network move towards achieving the project goals and outcomes and also the network planned for its sustainability. The network celebrated its annual achievements, the partners achievements and the leadership training added a further strengthening of the network. The meeting was held in TERI Gram, Delhi in India from 19th to 20th January 2025.
