*🏔️ Educational Trip to the Aravli Hills, Sohna | Deepalaya Senior Secondary School, Gusbethi ✨*
Learning beyond classrooms! 🌿 Students of *Class 9th & 10th* explored the ancient Aravli Hills under the guidance of *Mrs. Shikha Rohilla & Mr. Rashid Khan*. The trip turned geography lessons into real-life experiences!
*Highlights of the Trip:*
- *Valleys & V-Shaped Valleys*: Observed narrow and wide valleys formed by river erosion and understood how fast-flowing rivers shape landscapes.
- *Sand Dunes*: Spotted small sand dunes in dry areas, learning about wind action in semi-arid regions.
- *Formation of Mountains*: Learned how folding, faulting, and volcanic activity create majestic mountains, rich in rivers and minerals.
- *Natural Vegetation*: Witnessed pine trees, shrubs, and herbs growing at different altitudes, protecting soil and maintaining balance.
- *Water Bodies*: Visited rivers, waterfalls, and streams that originate in hills and support hydroelectric power.
- *Mountain vs Plain*: Understood key differences in climate, population, transport, and farming between hills and plains.
- *Human Interaction*: Observed terrace farming, wooden houses, tourism, and road construction on slopes.
- *Erosion, Landslides & Weathering*: Saw real examples of cracked rocks, soil erosion, and learned how deforestation can trigger landslides.
- *Mining & Soil Formation*: Discussed mineral extraction and how weathered rocks mix with organic matter to form soil over time.
- *Fertile Plains*: Explored plains at the foothills formed by river deposits, ideal for farming and settlement.

The trip was an eye-opening journey into the wonders of geography and environmental conservation. Our students returned with deeper knowledge, respect for nature, and unforgettable memories! 💚
