The Management, Principal and Faculty of *Deepalaya Sr. Sec. School, Gusbethi* proudly hosted the *Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council 2026-27* on *Monday, 18th May 2026 at 9:00 AM* in the Assembly Grounds, DSSSG. The school entrusted its young torchbearers with the mantle of leadership! 🎖️

*🌟 Ceremony Highlights:*
- *March Past with House Flags*: The newly elected council marched with discipline and determination, led by the vibrant flags of all four houses. 🥁
- *Badge & Sash Conferment*: The chief guest and dignitaries pinned badges and draped sashes on Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects. 🎗️
- *Oath of Office*: The Student Council took a solemn pledge to uphold the values of Deepalaya and serve the school with honesty, sincerity, and commitment. 📜🤝
- *Motivational Address*: The CE of DSSSG inspired students to be leaders who serve with humility and lead with courage. 🎤

Learning beyond classrooms! 🌿 Students of *Class 9th & 10th* explored the ancient Aravli Hills under the guidance of *Mrs. Shikha Rohilla & Mr. Rashid Khan*. The trip turned geography lessons into real-life experiences!

*Highlights of the Trip:*
- *Valleys & V-Shaped Valleys*: Observed narrow and wide valleys formed by river erosion and understood how fast-flowing rivers shape landscapes.
- *Sand Dunes*: Spotted small sand dunes in dry areas, learning about wind action in semi-arid regions.
- *Formation of Mountains*: Learned how folding, faulting, and volcanic activity create majestic mountains, rich in rivers and minerals.
- *Natural Vegetation*: Witnessed pine trees, shrubs, and herbs growing at different altitudes, protecting soil and maintaining balance.
- *Water Bodies*: Visited rivers, waterfalls, and streams that originate in hills and support hydroelectric power.
- *Mountain vs Plain*: Understood key differences in climate, population, transport, and farming between hills and plains.
- *Human Interaction*: Observed terrace farming, wooden houses, tourism, and road construction on slopes.
- *Erosion, Landslides & Weathering*: Saw real examples of cracked rocks, soil erosion, and learned how deforestation can trigger landslides.
- *Mining & Soil Formation*: Discussed mineral extraction and how weathered rocks mix with organic matter to form soil over time.
- *Fertile Plains*: Explored plains at the foothills formed by river deposits, ideal for farming and settlement.

*Conclusion:*
The trip was an eye-opening journey into the wonders of geography and environmental conservation. Our students returned with deeper knowledge, respect for nature, and unforgettable memories! 💚

Deepalaya Senior Secondary School celebrated Mother’s Day on 8th May with love, joy, and gratitude for all mothers. 🥰

Students from all grades expressed their love through poem recitations, handmade cards, emotional skits, and soulful solo songs, making the celebration truly heartwarming. 🎤🎨🎭🎶

The event beautifully reflected the unconditional love, care, and sacrifices of mothers. ✨

*🌍 World Earth Day Celebrated with Zeal at DEEPALAYA Senior Secondary School, Gusbethi! 🌱*

On 22nd April, our Deepalayans stepped up as guardians of Mother Earth! Under the able guidance of our dedicated I/C teachers, students across classes participated in meaningful activities to honor World Earth Day.

*Activities Conducted:*

*Classes 1 to 5:*
- *Plantation Activity*: Little hands planted saplings in the school premises, learning that every tree counts. I/C teachers guided students and arranged saplings for the drive.
- *Cleanliness Activity*: Students took part in a classroom cleaning drive, embracing the value of a clean environment.
- *Drawing Event*: Young artists expressed their love for the planet through colorful drawings on the theme _“Save Our Earth”_.

*Classes 6 to 8:*
- *Poster Making Event*: Students showcased creativity and awareness through impactful posters on the theme _“Protect Planet Earth”_ using chart papers brought from home.

The day was filled with enthusiasm, awareness, and action. Our students not only learned about environmental conservation but also pledged to adopt eco-friendly habits in daily life. Together, we’re shaping a greener tomorrow! 💚
