Raju Rojok grew up as a child in the Adivasi and tea garden community, surrounded by the everyday challenges and dreams shared by many children in the village. His journey, however, is a powerful reminder that where we come from does not have to define where we can go.

Through dedication, perseverance, and education, Raju completed his studies and chose to return to the very community that shaped him. Today, he serves as the Head Teacher of Doolahat Tea Estate, where he is helping shape the future of children who once shared the same surroundings and aspirations that he did.

For the children in the village, Raju is more than a teacher. He is proof that their dreams are possible. His own journey shows them that education can open doors, create opportunities, and empower them to build a different future for themselves and their families.

Every day, through his work in the classroom and his commitment to the community, Raju inspires young minds to believe in themselves and continue their education. His story demonstrates the powerful impact that one person can have when they choose to give back.

At Social Serve Foundation, we believe that real change begins when communities see their own people becoming role models and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Flood Relief Support for Flood-Affected Families in Sivasagar, Assam.

In response to the devastating floods in Assam, Social Serve Foundation, with the generous support of Street Providence, Goa, extended relief assistance to flood-affected families in Sivasagar District.

Essential relief materials, including food and drinking-water supplies, were distributed to support vulnerable families during this difficult time.

Together, we stand with communities during times of crisis and support families in need.

We were honoured to host Sir B. Gopalakrishnan, from UnLtd India, at Social Serve Foundation during his visit on 3rd and 4th August 2026.

His visit was a valuable learning experience for our entire team. Through his mentorship, thoughtful guidance, and constructive feedback, he encouraged us to strengthen our leadership, refine our strategies, and deepen our commitment to creating meaningful social impact.

We sincerely thank Sir. B. Gopalakrishnan for his time, encouragement, and continued support. We are grateful for his mentorship and look forward to applying these learnings to better serve our communities.

Proud to represent Social Serve Foundation (SSF), Assam at the UnLtd India Incubation Programme 2026 in Mumbai.

Honoured to be part of the UnLtd India Cohort 2026, alongside passionate social entrepreneurs and changemakers from across the country. The 3.5-day residential workshop was filled with learning, collaboration, reflection, and new perspectives on building sustainable social impact.

Looking forward to applying these learnings to strengthen SSF's work in education, livelihoods, and climate resilience for underserved communities in Assam.
