Today, through a positive government initiative, families now have the opportunity to apply for legal land rights.

Social Serve Foundation is actively mobilizing and supporting the community by:

✔ Following up with concerned departments.

Land is not just property it is security, dignity, and identity.
We are committed to ensuring that families who have lived for generations on this land finally receive their rightful ownership.

Together, we move towards justice and long-term security for tea garden communities.

Today, we conducted another planning and orientation session with the youth group on the application process for various government schemes.

In the coming days, these youth volunteers will visit different government departments to learn the procedures practically. They will then act as community resource persons sharing their learning, guiding others, and supporting community members to access and benefit from different government schemes.

Social Serve Foundation (SSF) is working with a group of youth volunteers to drive community-led social transformation. The youth will play a key role in bridging the gap between government schemes and the community by creating awareness and supporting access at the grassroots level.

The initial phase of the initiative focuses on building youth capacity on government schemes and strengthening coordination with the Gram Panchayat. Through Focus Group Discussions, multiple community challenges have been identified, and the youth are prepared to address these issues with continuous mentoring and support from SSF

Social Serve Foundation, in collaboration with the Assam Cancer Care Foundation, successfully organized a Health and Breast Cancer Awareness Program on 28th October 2025 at Doolahat Sonapur Gaon Panchayat, Lakhimpur, Assam.

The program aimed to raise awareness on early detection, prevention, and treatment of breast cancer among women and community members. The session was highly interactive and informative, with active participation from local residents.

One-Day Training on Best Management Practices for Rabi Vegetables .

The Social Serve Foundation (SSF) in collaboration with Agricultural Department of Lakhimpur, successfully organized a one-day training program focused on best management practices for Rabi vegetables.

Farmers actively participated and gained practical knowledge on improved cultivation techniques, pest management, and sustainable farming methods to boost productivity and income.

Together, we are working towards empowering farmers and promoting sustainable agriculture in Lakhimpur!

It was an honor to have Neha Saikia from SeSTA (NoDe) with us for the two-day Organizational Development (OD) workshop at Social Serve Foundation (SSF). The sessions were highly engaging, insightful, and learningful, helping us to reflect on our practices and strengthen our organizational capacity.
