Duo medals🥊🥇🥉🏆
Assam’s Niksh*ta Konwar continued the state’s strong dominance in women boxing🥊 by clinching the Gold🥇 medal in the women's 65 kg category by defeating Haryana's Vanshika in the final at the 8th Under-19 (Youth) Men and Women National Boxing Championships 2026 at the Assam Don Bosco University, Tepesia, Sonapur, Guwahati.

She was adjudged the 'Best Boxer (Female)' in this championship.

On the other hand, Sundeep Basumatari claimed Bronze🥉medal after losing to Haryana's Lokesh in the men's 80kg semifinal.
