The Final Match and Closing Ceremony of the Inter-School Basketball Tournament 2025 was indeed a grand success! 🎉

🙏 First of all, we thank the Almighty God for the blessings. A heartfelt thanks to our Chief Guest, the District Sports Officer, Madam Smt. L Syiem for gracing today’s closing ceremony with her presence and for her financial assistance to conduct this tournament and Fr. Francis, Principal of St. Thomas School and former AGS of DBA, for being part of this special occasion.

🔥 The Final matches were thrilling and intense:
🏆 Girls’ Category: Resu Govt. Higher Secondary School emerged as Champions against Dilma Apal Higher Secondary School.
🏆 Boys’ Category: Don Bosco Higher Secondary School clinched the Championship title against St. Thomas Higher Secondary School.

The District Basketball Association, North Garo Hills extends sincere gratitude to all the participating schools, the dedicated DBA members, and the school principals, all the supporters and contributors who worked tirelessly to make this tournament successful from Day 1 until today.

The Inter-School Basketball Tournament-2025 for the North Garo Hills region commenced today with great enthusiasm. 🏀🎉

Day-1 featured exciting matches, where teams from different schools displayed remarkable energy, determination, and true sportsmanship.

This year’s tournament brings together 9 Boys’ teams and 7 Girls’ teams from different schools, competing to lift the championship title.
