Akhil Bharatiya Adibasi Bikash Parishad NGO working Late Kartik Oraon was born on 29th of October 1924 in the village named Karounda, Lita Toli which comes under district Gumla of Jharkhand State.

He was a great educationist, skilled engineer, statesman and eminent tribal leader in India. He with his extra ordinary qualities gave recognition to Chhotanagpur region at national and international level.
