Vidya & Child works to bridge the gap for those children who have little or no access to education. It started in 1998 with the objective of providing a creative learning environment for underprivileged children. Most of the children are first generation learners and have parents who work as domestic servants, rickshaw pullers, industrial workers, plumbers & street vendors. Vidya & Chil

Exploring possibilities, discovering strengths, and preparing for the future! ✨

Students of Classes 10 and 12 at Vidya & Child participated in a career counselling session alongside their parents and teachers, making it a collaborative and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Through insightful discussions and guidance, students were encouraged to reflect on their interests, aspirations, and the many opportunities that lie ahead. The active involvement of parents and teachers added valuable perspectives and support as students began planning their future journeys with greater clarity and confidence.

At Vidya & Child, our teachers came together for enriching training sessions before the new academic session. Through collaborative discussions and reflective activities, they explored child-centered approaches and engaging classroom practices.

Vidya & Child’s regular visits to the Coforge Public Library continue to be a meaningful part of learning across our centres. Surrounded by books and quiet reading spaces, children are building a habit of reading, exploring stories, and reflecting on what they read.

Through this ongoing collaboration with Coforge Public Library, the Reading & Language Development Programme is reaching over 800 children, nurturing a growing love for books.

Students from Vidya & Child participated in a friendly Kho Kho practice match against Shyam Lal College (Delhi) on 8th March. It was an energetic and exciting match, and the Vatika Centre team won by 6 points.

Such friendly matches give our students the opportunity to build teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship while sharpening their skills on the field. It was a great learning experience and a wonderful display of team spirit.
