PANKH is an non government organization, registered in 1860 society act. The organization is formed by the diversified people who have been expert in different sector and willing to contribution in the development of the society. It has been working for the marginalized people specially women, youth & children through programmes of integrated development of community, vocational training, creation of Renewable Energy, Non-Formal Education, Skills Training, Health & Sanitation and conducting Baseline Survey & Need Assessment, monitoring & evaluation study etc. to promote a democratic society ensuring quality to all at both research and action level.

🩺 Taking Healthcare Closer to Rural Communities | SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels

Healthcare becomes truly meaningful when it reaches people where they live.

As part of the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels initiative, a Specialised Health Camp was organised at Rehra Village, Pachpedwa Block, Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, by SBI Foundation in collaboration with PANKH, with support from the Health Department.

📍 Key highlights from the camp:
✅ 212 patients received health consultations and screening
✅ 35+ community members screened for sugar & malaria
✅ Medical consultation and essential medicines provided
✅ Health awareness on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention and regular health check-ups
✅ Specialised medical support provided to rural and underserved communities

The camp brought together healthcare professionals, frontline health workers and the PANKH team to ensure that quality healthcare services reach communities at the grassroots level.

We are also grateful for the media coverage highlighting this community health initiative, which helps amplify the importance of accessible and preventive healthcare in rural areas.

Successful Special Health Camp in Gulra Village! 🏥
On 16/09/2026, SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels (MMU) Team organized a free health camp for the rural community.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Verma, MBBS, MD (Dermatology) – Skin Specialist, provided free skin check-ups and treatment.

Total 203 patients examined and treated, with free medicines distributed.
