The National Robotic Safe Surgery Checklist Webinar held on 12 May 2026 brought together anaesthesiologists, surgeons, robotic surgery experts, microbiologists, and biostatisticians as experts along with stakeholders from across the country to discuss one common goal - making robotic surgery safer, smarter, and more standardized by implementing a checklist.
The webinar highlighted the importance of structured safety protocols, team communication, perioperative preparedness, and implementation of a dedicated robotic safe surgery checklist to improve patient outcomes and surgical excellence.
This is only the beginning. We invite surgeons, hospitals, OT teams, anesthetists, nurses, administrators, and healthcare organizations to join this collaborative movement toward safer robotic surgical practices nationwide.
Together, let us build a culture of safety, standardization, and excellence in robotic surgery.
