Our Story
IIP - Initiatives for India’s Prosperity.
IIP Foundation is a A NON GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION voluntary organisation registered at Delhi, and is Approved under section 12AA & 80G of Income Tax Act 1961, FCRA. Empowering India for a better tomorrow. Dreaming of a flourishing society that is free from poverty and social injustice, IIP Foundation India makes efforts to engage underprivileged communities in developmental and reformative programmes related to health, education, environment, livelihoods and disaster preparedness with an emphasis on social responsibility and human values. The ultimate aim of the Foundation is to empower those who belong to the marginalized communities in order to bring improvement in their lives and livelihoods. IIP Foundation India also strives hard in facilitating the empowerment of women and girls, keeping in view the fact that they are disproportionately affected by poverty and discrimination in modern day society, and as a result, they suffer abuses and violations in the realization of their fundamental rights, entitlements and access and control over resources. The foundation strongly believes that empowered women can help whole families and entire communities in the fight against poverty, marginalization, exclusion and social injustice. Working for the issue of equality is one of the prime aims of IIP Foundation India. The equality can be achieved only by empowering people through organization. The Foundation facilitates this process by enabling people to be productive and self- reliant.
