Dr. Nidhi Pundhir formally inaugurated the Rangasutra Exhibition celebrating its 20 years and also participated in a panel discussion at The Kunj, an initiative dedicated to preserving India’s rich craft heritage, while Rangasutra, as a partner of HCLFoundation, brings this vision to life through design-led interventions.

This experiential exhibition brings together craft, heritage, and contemporary design as evolving practices shaped by people, processes, and communities. Through installations, product showcases, workshops, and conversations, it offers a deeper engagement with craft, going beyond the surface to understand the time, knowledge, and lived traditions behind every creation.

When art unlocks opportunity for young girls, and Gen Z–led markets align with purpose, CSR becomes a catalyst for sustaining livelihoods and strengthening well-being.

We were pleased to host Mr. Ajit Kumar, Corporate Officer, HCLTech, at HCLFoundation project sites in Noida - Harit Upvan, Sorkha; the NCUI Centre of Excellence; and the My E-Haat Display Centre.

The visit offered a glimpse into how integrated efforts across environment, skilling, and livelihoods are driving change on the ground.

From the transformation of Harit Upvan - once a neglected dump yard transformed into a thriving urban mini forest to skilling initiatives at the NCUI Centre that are enabling youth, women, and artisan groups with market-relevant opportunities. My E-Haat Display Centre further highlighted how grassroots producers are being connected to wider markets, strengthening sustainable income pathways.

A meaningful engagement that reinforces the power of community-led action and partnerships in creating long-term impact.

From grassroots participation to leadership pathways

Harsh*tha T.R.’s journey reflects the transformative power of sport, where access evolves into resilience, purpose and leadership, enabled through HCLFoundation’s Sports for Change initiative.

What began as a school-level engagement in Bengaluru gradually grew into a deep passion for football, taking her from local playgrounds to representing India at an international street football festival in France. That experience became a turning point, shaping her aspirations and commitment to the sport.

Over the years, Harsh*tha progressed through competitive football, representing Karnataka multiple times and securing championship titles at the Super Division level. Her journey has also been defined by resilience, as she overcame two ACL injuries with determination and sustained support.

Today, she marks a significant milestone by earning her AIFF C Licence coaching certification at Yenepoya Institute, Mangalore, transitioning from an athlete to a coach.

Harsh*tha now aspires to build and mentor teams, using her journey to inspire the next generation of players on and off the field.

From player to coach, building leaders for the future of sport.
