💚 Celebrating Health, Fitness & Stronger Communities!

As part of the ITC's CSR Initiative, Bounce of Joy (BOJ) programme, a special Mothers’ Event was organized at Gagi Panchayat, Ranchi, bringing together an incredible 533 mothers, including members of 16 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and women from the host community

Through interactive games, fun activities, and engaging sessions, the event created an enjoyable space for mothers to explore messages around health, fitness, nutrition, and healthy habits. 🥗🏃‍♀️🎯

Adding a powerful social message to the celebrations, the mothers also performed a thought-provoking play on drug abuse—including substance abuse among women—and child marriage. Their daughters participated too, with the Sashakt team engaging them separately through age-appropriate activities and conversations.

The event was strengthened by the support of the JSLPS Block Team, Panchayat Mukhiya, BPM, and BPO, whose encouragement helped make the community gathering a success.

Together, we continue to make healthy living joyful, active, and community-driven—because it’s all about “Bounce ke Sath Fit Raho!” 💪😊

🥗 Keeping the spirit of Nutrition Week alive! 💚

Keeping the spirit of Nutrition Week alive, the Bounce of Joy programme hosted a special Mothers’ Event at Purushottampur, Muzaffarpur, filled with learning, laughter, and fun.

Around 150 women came together and enthusiastically participated in games, interactive activities, and fun challenges centred around nutrition, balanced diets, healthy eating, and everyday healthy habits. 🥦🎯

The event created a joyful space for mothers to learn, connect, and reflect on how simple, healthy choices can contribute to healthier families and communities.

Through fun, movement, and meaningful conversations, the event brought the spirit of “Bounce ke Sath Fit Raho” to life—reminding us that healthy living can be joyful and something we embrace together. 🌱❤️

🌱 **HARIT PROGRAM – Towards Plastic-Free Schools**

We are proud to announce the launch of the **HARIT PROGRAM**, an initiative by **Sashakt Foundation in collaboration with ITC Limited**, dedicated to creating cleaner, greener and plastic-free schools.

The programme is being implemented across **10 districts in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh**, with a focus on building awareness, promoting responsible plastic use, strengthening waste management practices and fostering environmental sustainability in schools.

🏆 ITC–Bounce of Joy | Launch of Sports Event Series in Muzaffarpur 🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️

On 29th August, National Sports Day marked the launch of the Sports Event Series in Muzaffarpur under the Bounce of Joy (BOJ) programme, supported by ITC Ltd.

Students from seven government schools came together for an exciting Inter-School Kabaddi Tournament, providing a platform to compete, collaborate and experience the values of teamwork, discipline, confidence and fair play.

🎯 298 participants

Students displayed tremendous enthusiasm, teamwork, coordination and a positive competitive spirit, while teachers and peers added to the excitement by cheering for the teams. 🙌

Through Bounce of joy , sport is being used to help children build confidence, teamwork, discipline and resilience while creating opportunities to learn, participate and grow beyond the classroom.

How Sports Changed 2.1 Lakh Lives | Bounce of Joy Programme Impact Story | CSR Initiative| Sports for Development

The Bounce of Joy Programme, supported by ITC and implemented by Sashakt Foundation, is a powerful example of how sports can drive real change.
📍 Implemented across Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand, the programme reached over 2.1+ lakh beneficiaries, including 90,000+ students and 1.2 lakh community members.
⚽ With 29,000+ Sports for Development sessions, 400+ matches, and 3 district-level tournaments, children gained not just skills in sports—but confidence, teamwork, and leadership.
🤝👥 Community engagement remained central, with 150+ events, including 18 mega events, along with infrastructure development in 21 schools, sports kit distribution, and branding interventions to enable sustained sports participation.
📈 The programme led to a visible increase in regular sports activities, higher participation in school and community sports events. It also promoted strong gender inclusion, with growing family support and active participation of girls in sports.

🌱 This is more than a programme- it’s a movement using sports to transform lives.

Sunfeast Bounce of Joy concluded on a high note, celebrating the impact created across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand, reaching children in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Saharanpur, Muzaffarpur, Munger, and Ranchi. With the support of ITC Limited and Implemented by Sashakt Foundation, the programme engaged 250 schools and over 2 lakh students, including 1.2 lakh community members, using football and sports-based learning to build confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits among children.

The closing ceremony was graced by Jyoti Chauhan, an international footballer who has represented India globally and continues to inspire young athletes, along with Abhishek Rawat, captain of the UP football team, who is actively shaping young players through coaching and mentorship.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our partners at ITC Limited, and especially Nupur Agarwal and Abhirup Banerji, for their continued support in making this initiative possible.

The 𝗜𝗧𝗖- 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 was successfully conducted today at 𝗛𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲, Ranchi (Jharkhand) creating a vibrant platform to promote 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 at the grassroots level. The event was led by 𝗦𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗸𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 team with support from 𝗜𝗧𝗖 𝗟𝘁𝗱.

Despite being located in a remote forest area nearly 70 km from Ranchi, the programme witnessed an inspiring turnout of around 450 community members, reflecting the strong grassroots reach of the Sashakt awareness drive.

The event was graced by the presence of respected local representatives as Chief Guests, who motivated the participants and distributed prize money to the top-performing teams and distributed 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝘀𝘁, 𝟮𝗻𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀.
