ChalkLit provides tools, resources, and trainings to teachers to help them teach better in their classrooms. It also offers a personalized peer to peer social micro learning network where teachers can learn from the best practises and experience of other teachers. ChalkLit also provides both scholastic and co-scholastic content and is focused to inform teachers about life skills, gender, sustainab
le development goals, 21st century skills and other important constructs which are important for students to know. ChalkLit has been developed by the Million Sparks Foundation and is supported by Google.org, Central Square Foundation, PayTM, and Gray Matters Capital
We also enable other partners to use our platform to deliver their content to the teachers of the states that they are working in both in an online and offline model. Our partners include STIR Education, SCERT, SSA, NCERT, NUEPA, Akshara, Lend a Hand, Pratham, Pratham Story Weaver, Kendriya Vidyalaya, CBSE, NCTE, DAV, CIET etc. We are also working with the National Indepedent School Alliance to work with the Affordable Private Schools segment. We work with the states of Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Odisha, and have an active interest from Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana. We have made presentations to the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Shillong, Meghalaya, Sikkim. We are in conversation with teacher bodies in Ghana, Brazil, Kenya, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan also.
