Sustainability with the Spirit of Convergence.
A major stride for the HRDP–Palwal, a Holistic Rural Development Project, supported by HDFC Parivartan, was the convergence meeting held with the Palwal Deputy Administration. On 17 November 2025, the AROH team engaged in a convergence-focused meeting with Deputy Collector, Dr. Harish Kumar, IAS and key district departments to align efforts and strengthen implementation on the ground. The discussion aimed at fostering collaboration and ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of the project.
Bringing together officials from Education, Women & Child Development, Agriculture, Irrigation, Public Health Engineering, and Renewable Energy, the meeting created a unified platform to align responsibilities, share expectations, and strengthen the rollout of the HRDP–HDFC project in Badoli block.
The constructive dialogue with the District Administration reflects a strong commitment towards collaborative and convergence-driven development towards the following key aspects:
• Education Department – Digital learning & improved school infrastructure.
• Women & Child Development (WCD) – Upgrading. Anganwadi Centres into child-friendly learning spaces
• Agriculture Department – Millet promotion, crop diversification & capacity building.
• Irrigation Department – Strengthening water access for farming communities.
• Renewable Energy Department – Solar-powered lighting & clean energy solutions.
• Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) – Safe drinking water & sanitation improvements.
The meeting exemplified the true spirit of convergence: multiple departments, one collective mission, and an aligned effort to accelerate holistic grassroots development in Palwal. It marked a promising beginning, reinforcing our belief that sustainable impact is possible only when government bodies, CSR partners, and implementing agencies work together with shared intent and focus.
