140+ Tribal Beneficiaries at DTCC-Supported Medical Camp 🤩

Sevalaya Nilgiris organised mobile medical camps at Puliyambara and Ezhumuram Tribal Village in The Nilgiris district on 17 and 19 Nov 2025.

A total of 149 beneficiaries received free general health check-ups and consultations at the medical camps.

The camps addressed common health issues such as myalgia, upper respiratory infections (URI), foot fissures, gastritis, headache, acute febrile illness (AFI), acute gastroenteritis (AGE), arthralgia, wounds, allergic rhinitis, skin lesions, hypertension (HTN), diabetes mellitus (DM), neuropathy, undernutrition, and constipation.

Free medicines were distributed to all patients at both camps.

The camps and mobile medical van were sponsored by DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) as part of its ongoing support for community healthcare initiatives in remote and underserved areas.

Free Medical Camp by Sevalaya Nilgiris with DTCC Support

Sevalaya Nilgiris organised a medical camp at Gandhinagar and Choondi villages in The Nilgiris district on 12 Nov 2025.

A total of 105 beneficiaries ( 53 males and 52 females ) received free general health check-ups and medical consultations.

The camp addressed common health issues such as myalgia, upper respiratory infections (URI), gastritis, wounds, bronchial asthma, arthralgia, headache, allergic rhinitis, skin lesions, hypertension (HTN), and heartburn. Free medicines were distributed to all patients.

This mobile medical camp, and van was sponsored by DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) as part of its ongoing commitment to community healthcare initiatives in remote areas.

🩺 200+ Tribal Residents Benefit from DTCC’s Medical Camps in The Nilgiris

Sevalaya Nilgiris, with support from DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation), organised two mobile medical camps at Puliyampara (28 Oct 2025) and Choondi & Barwood villages (29 Oct 2025) in The Nilgiris district.

Over 200 tribal residents (73 men and 129 women) received free general health check-ups, consultations, and medicines.

Common ailments treated included myalgia, upper respiratory infections (URI), gastritis, foot fissures, arthralgia, headaches, skin lesions, vertigo, varicose veins, wounds, COPD, and undernutrition.

The medical camp and the van was sponsored by DTCC - The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation).

240+ Tribals Receives Free Medical Care at Nilgiris 🤩

Sevalaya’s Nilgiris organised a free medical camp for tribal communities in Seaforth, Chelivayal, Choondi, and Bharathi Nagar villages in the Nilgiris district on 10–12 Sep 2025.

Over 240 tribal people benefitted from general health checkups, addressing a wide range of common health issues.

The camp focused on conditions such as myalgia, upper and lower respiratory infections (URI & LRI), skin lesions, headaches, gastritis, hypertension, diabetes, neuropathy, allergic rhinitis, otalgia, giddiness, dental caries, conjunctivitis, cerumen impaction, bronchial asthma, and wound care.

Free medicines were provided to all patients to ensure proper treatment and recovery.

The medical camp and the van was sponsored by DTCC - The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation).

200+ Tribal People Receive Free Healthcare — Thanks to DTCC’s Support😊

Sevalaya’s Nilgiris team, with the support of DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation), organised a series of free mobile medical camps for tribal communities across Nilgiris district.

📍 Arattupara & Yellamalai Tribal Villages – 4 Sep 2025

A total of 76 people attended and received general health check-ups. The camp addressed common health issues such as myalgia, upper respiratory infections (URI), dental caries, wound infections, skin lesions, otalgia, urinary tract infections (UTI), and undernutrition.

📍 Gandhi Nagar Tribal Village – 6 Sep 2025

82 people benefitted from this camp which focused on ailments like myalgia, URI, skin lesions, acute gastroenteritis (AGE), toothache, allergic dermatitis, vertigo, arthralgia, injuries, and gastritis.

📍 Vattakolli & Machikolly Tribal Villages – 8 Sep 2025

The camp served 70 people, addressing issues such as myalgia, URI, skin lesions, oral ulcers, wounds, foot cracks, anorexia, and gastritis.

Free medicines were provided to all patients. The mobile medical camp and van were sponsored by DDTCC - The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation

🌸 Onam Festivities at Sevalaya Nilgiris 🌼✨

📅 Sevalaya Nilgiris celebrated Onam 2025 with vibrant festivities at its After School Study Centre in Marode, The Nilgiris district on 2 Sep 2025.

🎨👩‍🎨 Students showcased their creativity by drawing beautiful kolams and actively participated in fun-filled cultural activities 🎶💃.

👦👧 Around 30 students from Sevalaya’s After School Study Centres at Kollur and Ponkuzhi also joined the celebration, making the festival a joyful and memorable community event 🤝🌈.

🏫💙 The infrastructure and operational expenses of the After-School Study Centres are sponsored by BNY ✨.

✨ DTCC Medical Camps Benefit 950+ Tribals ✨

Sevalaya Nilgiris, with the support of DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation), organised a series of 15 medical outreach camps from 6 to 29 Aug 2025 across tribal villages in the Nilgiris district.

The initiative provided general health check-ups, treatment for common ailments, preventive healthcare awareness, and free medicines to community members who have limited access to medical facilities.

Over this period, the camps benefited 964 individuals, ensuring that essential healthcare reached the most underserved tribal communities.

The overall diagnoses included common conditions like fever, cold, and cough, along with Myalgia, Scabies, URI, LRI, Arthralgia, Arthritis, AFI, AGE, UTI, Wound Infection, Skin Lesions, and Peripheral Neuropathy.

The mobile medical camp and van were also sponsored by DTCC, enabling Sevalaya to continue its mission of delivering quality healthcare to tribal families in remote areas. 🌿❤️

🌿 Sevalaya Nilgiris organised a free medical camp at Glenvans Village, The Nilgiris, on 28 Aug 2025.

👩‍⚕️ A total of 64 tribal residents received general health checkups and free medicines.

💊 The camp addressed issues like gastritis, joint pain, headaches, respiratory infections, skin lesions & more.

🙏 Special thanks to DTCC - The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation for sponsoring the mobile medical van and medical camps.
