Saksham, in partnership with , has successfully established and inaugurated the second Digital Learning Lab & Experience Zone under the SBIF-COE Samarthya Project in Saharsa, Bihar.

The lab is equipped with a range of assistive technologies tailored to support the diverse learning needs of persons with visual impairment.

Establishing such a facility in an underserved location marks a significant step in bridging the digital divide.

A new chapter for inclusive education begins in Muzaffarpur 🌟

Saksham, with the generous support of , set up the Digital Learning Lab & Experience Zone at Shubham Viklang Sansthan, Muzaffarpur, under the SBIF-COE Samarthya Project.

The lab, equipped with tablets, screen readers, Braille displays, and tactile tools, is now a space where persons with disabilities can learn, grow, and thrive independently.

This was followed by a powerful Sensitisation Event, with sighted students and visually impaired students sharing one stage, one experience, and one vision. Together, they played inclusive games, explored Braille, discovered assistive tech, and experienced the world through audio-described films. 🎬

These initiatives mark a significant step towards building an inclusive educational ecosystem where accessibility is not an afterthought, but a foundation.

Rohru Mela 2026 was nothing short of magical ✨

These two days were more than just an event; they were a movement of inclusion and celebration.

In partnership with Navkiran Eye Hospital, we brought quality eye care directly to the people of Rohru through free eye examinations and medicines for everyone.

Our experience zone invited everyone to pause, feel, and understand the world of people with visual impairment.

At Saksham, we believe in a world where every person has equal access to health, education, and opportunity – a world where disability is not a barrier but a different way of experiencing life.

अगर दृष्टि संबंधी समस्याओं का समय पर पता न चले, तो यह स्थायी नुकसान का कारण बन सकती हैं। सक्षम और नवकिरण आई हॉस्पिटल, रोहड़ू मिलकर रोहड़ू मेले में सीधे लोगों तक श्रेष्ठ नेत्र सेवाएं लेकर आ रहे हैं!

यह निःशुल्क नेत्र जांच शिविर आँखों के स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने और यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आयोजित किया जा रहा है कि कोई भी उचित नेत्र जांच से वंचित न रहे। अगर आप अपनी आँखों को नज़रअंदाज़ करते आए हैं, तो यह बिल्कुल मुफ़्त में पूरी जांच करवाने का सुनहरा मौका है!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to SBI Foundation for supporting COE Samarth - an initiative transforming inclusive education for students with visual impairments.

Together, we are creating real change:

🔹 1,100+ stakeholders engaged, including parents
🔹 560+ students with visual impairments supported
🔹 30+ special educators trained
🔹 15,714 pages converted into accessible EPUB formats
🔹 118 books uploaded for free access on Sugamya Pustakalaya

📍 Expanded across Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, UP, and Chhattisgarh

💡 What we’re building:
• Digital learning labs with accessible desktops
• Assistive technology resource centres
• Tactile learning resources in schools
• Accessible digital curriculum
