This is what employability looks like on the ground.

In the EV bay at our Bahadurgarh centre, a cohort of young people from Jhajjar and Bahadurgarh is learning to open up an electric scooter, trace the battery management system, and put it back together. In the morning it is a diagram on a whiteboard. By afternoon it is a vehicle.

On 31 July, more than 80 volunteers from Admiral Solutions spent the day with them — handing over safety harnesses and tool kits, running a solar module demo, and answering questions until the questions ran out. 2026 is the UN International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, and its theme is simple: every contribution matters.

Why these trades? Rooftop solar creates 45 times the jobs per megawatt that ground-mounted solar does. Demand for green skills in India is growing about twice as fast as the supply of people who have them. And on site, a certified solar electrician earns ₹900–1,400 a day where an uncertified helper earns ₹500–700.

“Kshamta” does not translate as “skill”. It translates as employability — the capacity that stays long after the programme ends.

Learning beyond textbooks — bridging the digital gap for children who need it most. For many children in Basai, access to computers and digital learning is not a given. The Digital Learning Centre is helping change that by providing a space where children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence.

With the support of AON and implemented by Responsenet, more than 100 underpriviledged children are now getting hands-on access to computers, learning basic digital skills, and engaging with education in a safe, encouraging environment.

Together, we are opening doors to learning, curiosity, and a more inclusive digital future for every child.
