Sharing how this is a collective responsibility, he said, "For me, this moment is really about reflecting on the education system as a whole and bringing our focus back to where learning truly happens: the classroom. "It feels like the classroom comes home with him every day!", shares Jagpreet Kaur, a mother from Haryana’s Kurukshetra district. 💫

When her seven-year-old son, Vihaan returns home from school, his learning continues. He excitedly recites poems, narrates stories, asks questions & interacts playfully with his mother - something new each day.

For Jagpreet, this is the biggest difference she sees in today's classrooms. Learning is no longer about memorisation - it's about curiosity, conversation, confidence and joy. This is the vision that continues to drive - the Government of Haryana's flagship Mission to strengthen among FLN grade learners.

📢 Marking , the District Administration, Anugola launched the SAKSHAM School Report Card website, making school-level learning outcomes of every government school in the district publicly accessible for the first time. This initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening accountability for learning by giving parents, teachers and education officials reliable evidence of how each school in the district is performing on a common competency-based assessment.

Developed by the Angul District Administration in collaboration with EducationOdisha and Central Square Foundation as the technical partner, the website enables parents to search for their child's school and view its overall learning performance, along with comparisons with neighbouring government schools & the highest-performing government school in the block.

➡️ View the website here: https://anugolasaksham.in/en/

Launching the website, Shri Abdaal M. Akhtar, IAS, Collector & District Magistrate, Angul, said, "The purpose of this initiative is to bring greater accountability for learning into the education system. Every year, schools that demonstrate improvement in the SAKSHAM assessment will be recognised, while schools that continue to struggle will be held accountable. At the same time, the credibility of this initiative depends on the quality of the assessment itself. We are committed to strengthening data quality and ensuring that every round of SAKSHAM produces reliable evidence that parents, teachers and administrators can trust to make better decisions for school learning quality."
